Year 6’s new topic is all about Then and Now. They will be introduced to the vocabulary about places found in town. They will be using the sentence structure Il y a – there is and il n’y a pas – there isn’t with the new vocabulary. They will also learn how to say the year in French and compare and contrast places that look different now to the past. They will then create a leaflet about their town and pretend they are tourist guides.
